delay between notated music and visual keyboard when recording
Hi,
I'm currently trying to use Panopto to record lectures. I was hoping to use the keyboard panel alongside the notation, thinking it would be a great way to teach people about notation. It's actual a confusing mess because of the delay between the sound and the visuals, even though it's perfect within the program itself.
I've tried different combinations of mics and computed sound.
Does anyone know a way to do this without this delay?

You'll likely have to look into synchronizing settings within Panopto.
As an alternative, I have recorded using OBS-Studio and that seems to be working out just fine for me.

OK, it's better if I record in the web browser, but I still get an echo, presumably because of the mic. Do you turn your mic off when you play from Musescore? I'm not sure I can do that mid-recording. Panopto is the default at my university.

Muting your Mic seems like a good thing indeed; I personally don't do that, because the microphone stream simply isn't included in the recording for such events.
But during live streams for example, then yes, I often mute my microphone during playback.
