Cut Time Confusion
In the attached score, counting 1 + 2 +, it seems to think that the + beats get a quarter note and and eight note. I think it should be only a quarter note. What is wrong with my thinking here?

That quarter is not on the 2nd + , but a 8th before that

Thanks, that's it. I should remember to count 1+2+3+4+ sometimes.

May or may not show in the tablature, depending on the settings

It's not really clear for me, what you mean. If I enable the metronome it's clearly counts in cut time and a quarter beat for the '+'.
