Problems with "_" Character
I use MuseScore 3.6.1 Portable AppImage inside 64 bit computers with Ubuntu Studio 20.04.1 LTS (Linux).
I have been experimented some problems, NOT ALWAYS, with the "_" character inside the "LYRICS" lines.
Sometimes, I repeat: NOT ALWAYS, when I have to use the "_" character, I get the "⨀" character (or something like that) instead.
Why? What could be wrong, here? How could I work around about this?
The only one solution I've found, and it is very weird, is...
1) Save the score as MusicXML format.
2) Close the original score.
3) Open the "new" MusicXML format file of the score.
4) All the lyrics characters are so fine!!!
5) Save that "new" score as usual.
6) All is working fine, now.
Somebody has some idea about this? ???
BTW: An extra weird behaviour is about each time I start a new score (from the scratch), I get FreeSerif font to Lyrics. But, I expected the new one Baldwin font. Why? ???
Blessings and Greetings from Chile!!!

I don't have any insight into the "_" issue, sounds like it is likely specific to your keyboard.
But as for a new score giving you FreeSerif for lyrics, check to see if you have a custom style defined in Edit / Preferences / Score. Because the default for 3.6 should be Edwin.

Hi, Marc!!!
Thank you so much for your time and help!!!
I'm not 100% sure about my specific keyboard, because something similar happened, time ago, with some old Portable AppImage in my Linux systems, and it was something related with the Qt interface.
As the today issue is not a permanent issue, I guess, could be, something related with some Qt library. I'm not a programmer, so I'm just guessing.
About the second part of this question, I use a "personal" style, which has the "Edwin" font as default value, because I saved it again with that "new" value. So...

And do you have this style listed as your default in Edit / Preferences / Score? Since Edwin is the default, you should be seeing that with or without this custom MSS file, though.
