As discussed in https://musescore.org/en/node/88841, it would be useful to have a 'visible' checkbox added in the instruments dialogue for each individual tab staff linked to a standard notatation staff. This would enable users who use those tab staves for verifying fingerings to make them invisible without deleting them when it comes time to export to PDF and print.
Issue created at the suggestion of Isaac Weiss.

Altered the title to included unlinked tab staves. These can also share the same instrument as a pitched staff line.
More broadly applicable title.
Relates to #285237: [EPIC] Invisible staves issues

I too have been looking for this feature!
Fix typo.
I too would very much appreciate this feature. It would be useful for almost every score I do.

Offhand, I can't actually think of a reason this wouldn't be simple to implement, at least with regard to the layout itself - no gotchas I can think of.
That would be great.
Thanks

Cadiz1!
Thanks to you and others who have collected the many links requesting the option to show/hide individual staves within an instrument.

Excellent. Thanks for your reply Marc.
Really hope this can happen soon!
Well, no, I didn't say it could happen soon. It would introduce an incompatible file format change, so it wouldn't be possible to implement until MuseScore 4.
Adding a +1. When working on piano scores that occasionally expand to three staves (e.g. for one or two pages out of twenty, it would help to be able to hide the third stave to make editing less cumbersome, particularly to stop the desktop display from jumping around to show all staves at once.
