It it is a staff within the same system, yes. Possibly in connection with 'hide empty staves'

The guidelines are not empty, this would be an exercise in rhythmic practice.
It would have to be the same as the PDF file in the previous mgs, it is an evaluation I am creating for the school.

There's just one instrument with one staff, that won't do indeed, but is not what I proposed.

If this is meant to convey two separate staves, then having two staves with the bottom one set to have invisible staff lines in staff/part properties would be the way to go. That combined with hide empty staves. But if yit's important that this actually all be a single staff, add the "staff type change" from the Text palette and use the Inspector to set it to invisible staff lines.

I followed his teaching however, when I perform the procedure of invisible staves, the process extends to the next bars, that is not the objective. Is it possible to hide only the desired guidelines?

Just place another staff type change where you want it to return to visible staff lines. The element applies from that point forward - you don't apply it measre by measure. So, just one where the invisible lines start, and a second one where they stop.
