scores wont play on new version
i had version 2.3.2 I download newest version and none of my scores will play. Please help

That's a backup score, not the latest version of it
Even if i create a new score the play tab is disabled. Also the synthesiser is disabled

The score is OK, check the PC Mixer and Windows tips on the page linked above.

I have just done this reset and restart and the synthesiser and mixer are still disabled??

Did you download from: https://musescore.org/en/download ?
Download again, install, do not start MuseScore but restart your PC first.
That score appears to be generated with 3.0.2 (?) and is a backup file.

Thank you. Restarting the computer before opening the new version has worked - phew!
It is playing fine now
