Sixteenth note spacing

How do I reduce the spacing between sixteenth notes in my score? There is a specific section in a piece I wrote in 6/4 for violin 2 and viola parts that has a long section of sixteenths. Each measure takes up one line of the score! How can I reduce the space the sixteenths are taking to allow for 4 or even 6 measures to a line? Just go to 6/4 section on the attached pdf and you can see what I mean. Any suggestions I would be most grateful! And many thanks! Sean

Indeed, it's next to impossible to diagnose problems from only a picture, so please attach your actual score.

My guess, though, it that there simple isn't room for another measure on those pages given your current settings for page size, margin size, staff size, spacing, and minimum note distance. The ledger line length is probably a factor as well. Changing one or more of those settings would probably allow more measures to fit. With your actual score, we can advise better.

Indeed, no getting around the laws of physics here: there are just too many notes to fit given your current settings. You need com combination of bigger paper, smaller margins, smaller staves (all in Format / Page Settings), tighter spacing, or smaller minimum note distance (both in Format / Style / Measure). You can also try just reducing the "stretch" for those measures a few notches in (Format / Layout Stretch), but while I can get a it to fit two measures in some places, it's really too crowded, you'll be better off with small staves I think.
