how to use Control X
Help ! My professor said that C X in Musescore 2 works to cut out a section and put it somewhere else with C V, but when I press C X it starts messing with what is already there instead of copying for cutting...

Ctrl+C for Copy, Ctrl+X fort Cut. And Ctrl+V for paste, just like (almost) everywhere else
