Renaming Song

I renamed a score that was open, clicked 'save' and then close.
I attempted to retrieve the score by clicking 'file' and then 'open.'
I did not see it in the box that usually opens.
But I saw a .mscz with no name in front of it.
I double clicked on it and the renamed score opened.
I am trying to put the new name in front of the .mscz but I am not succeeding.
How can I do that?

I'm not sure what C & P means, but if you are having trouble renaming your file from with the open or save dialogs within MuseScore, try using your normal OS facilities instead. Hard to say what might be going on with your system preventing this from working normally - a folder permissions issue, perhaps? But hopefully your normal OS file browser will provide more useful diagnostics.
