MuseScore export to Csound score file capability?
Hello, I'm not sure if I'm asking in the right pace yet, please advise if there's better.
I'm a big fan of both MuseScore and Csound. I'd love to be able to score tunes in MuseScore and output them to a score file that Csound could read.
Currently, Csound expects note pitches to be expressed numerically as a column in a plaintext file, which is a real pain when transcribing. So the above would be welcome function.
Hopefully I don't need to re-invent the wheel too much?
Thanks for such a delightful app.

Many thanks, much food for thought. Starting to look like the Csbeats alternative score language might get me a quick fix, if I can figure out how to invoke it.
Meanwhile the MuseScore-to-Csound export plugin may need a little more crafting into existence :)
Given the format is mostly numeric, it seems to be a good match for MIDI.
And, indeed, Csound can read MIDI files directly: http://floss.booktype.pro/csound/d-reading-midi-files/
