Distortion
Please see attached score sheet. I had originally written the score on a much older version of Musescore. Now I am using 3.6.2 version. When I opened the score in this new version the entire score has got distorted. I don't know how to rectify it. Could somebody please help me get back my original score. Thanks.

That score stems from (read: got last saved with) MuseScore 1.3
Still it does play just fine in MuseScore 3.6.2 on Windows 10 here, no distortion.
Try Help > Revert to factory settings
Press CTRL+A and after that CTRL+R
to fit the music better on the sheets.

Yeah, there's a bit of a formatting to do to convert it from 1.3 to 3.6.2, check the attached.
That doesn't do anything with regards to distortion though.
Hold on; you don't mean distorted sound but distorted view? If so indeed the above answer is the way to go and a factory reset won't help.

Thank you for your response and also for sending me the corrected (view) score. I meant, both, distorted view and distorted sound..
The sound is still distorted. I tried changing instruments. The Cello works good for the Bass voices. I tried Tuba for the Tenor voices. It wasn't good enough. I'll try to figure out something.

OK, no distorted sound here. Make sure not not overload the MuseScore synth, the volume dial should be at -40 Db, the default, else clipping is to be expected

if you continue to have trouble with sound after resetting the volume, please explain in more detail - which specific measure of which specific staff is distorting for you. Then we can listen more closely to that spot to see if we can hear as issue as well.

I reduced the Piano volume and now it works well.
