Annoying Bug
Hello,
I use MuseScore 3 on my Windows 10 gaming PC. I recently had a bug which messed up new scores (look at the picture I sent).
I tried several things. I resetted MuseScore, I reinstalled it, and it didn't solve the issue. Either if I used the Microsoft Store version or the downloadable version on MuseScore website.
I finally solved the issue by completely formatting my drive and reinstalling Windows.
But now, the issue has come back. Just two weeks after I formatted my drive. I also have a Windows 10 laptop and there is no bug with MuseScore on it.
The scores I already made are not affected by the bug. This only affects new scores I create.
Can someone help me to stop this annoying bug?

Look in Format > Page Settings... and check the 'Page Size' you are using.
BTW: Do you have a printer hooked up to this computer?

It seems to work, but it still goes back to that bizarre format each time I open it. I don't understand why it does that. I resetted it several times.
And yes. I have a printer connected to my PC.

Exactly what seems to work?
When in that bizarre format, what does the Page Size show in Format > Page Settings?
Is your printer page size set to print something small like labels, and not set to "normal" paper?

Oh, I see... I think I know what the problem is...
I have also a label printer connected to my computer. I can print small labels with it. I completely forgot about that printer.
And I can see that my label printer is the default printer too.
I just set my normal printer as the default printer and now everything is fine. Thank you! I would never have thought of that if you didn't tell me.

Glad you got it sorted.
Much simpler than your earlier "sledgehammer" approach:
I finally solved the issue by completely formatting my drive and reinstalling Windows.
Yikes!... ;-)
