Tie over volta för engraving and playback
I can't find the way to tie the last note of a measure before volta 1 to the first of the following measure in volta 2, both for playback and for the layout. What am I missing?

For some reason, the inspector appears empty when I open it. Do you know why this would happen?

Well, now it works with playback and the tie is engraved, but the notes appear displaced to the right. Is there any way to correct this?
Btw, this is a "workaround". Does it mean that there is no standard way to do it? Ties over volta are pretty common.

I see. But the workaround that I used following Jojo-Schmitz suggestion, while it works fine for playback, creates an empty space where the grace note is typed in. Is there a workaround for this problem, so that the engraving is not incorrectly offset to the right?

No need for a workaround. Select the main note and in the Inspector, section "Segment", decrease the "Leading space" as wished.
