Indicating instrumental compass at the beginning of the first bar.
I'd find it helpful to be able to indicate the compass of each instrument at the beginning of the piece - in this case a recorder quartet. You often see this in madrigal scores. Usually looks like a faint semibreve.
Can this be done in MuseScore?

Compass? Do you mean something like Ambitus? Or time- or key signature?

I mean the highest and lowest notes in the piece.
