One way would be to create an A part and copy your Bb into it. Although A is not very common.
Right click in to the staff, Staff/Instrument properties > Change instrument > Trumpet in A

I do not see Trumpet in A as a choice.

Type 'A Trumpet' in the search box at the bottom.

Or just "Trumpet", to see them all. Even just "Tru" is suffcient for searchig them

It's there as piccolo trumpet.

That too. There's an "A Trumpet" and a "Piccolo Trumpet in A" (and yes, the naming is inconsistent. It is going to change in MuseScore 4, IIRC)

Sorry, "A Trumpet". It is translated into German as "Trompete in A"
