using keyboard to play musescore sound
Hello , i have connected my usb master keyboard to musescore, i select it as input. I want to play the keybiard and hear the sound according to the sound selected ( i have flute bar, brass bar and bass bar), but nothing happen. no sound played
I can play the music i wrote already though
Also i can play the sounds using th einternal keyboard
What shall i do?

ok after trying and trying now i can use my master
There is latency thugh, even if i use the asio driver of my card

I doubt there is any one answer to that - every system is different in how the MIDI and audio are routed. But also, it should be noted, MuseScore just wasn't designed for real-time performance. So, you will soon find it isn't so viable for this - even without the latency, not all of the incoming MIDI data is reproduced by the synthesizer. So you're really better off using a different sound source if the goal is to actually play music.

no i don t want to play music, but i need to test what i write before doing it..so shall ihave both a daw and musescore opened?

Need? No. But between the latency and the other limitations that come from MuseScore not having been designed for this, you may find that using a different sound source is simply better. I think many people who use MIDI keyboards simply use the built-in sounds, but of course not all keyboards have those.
