how to change instruments
In the attached image there are measures marked "Chimes," "Brass," "Strings," and "Clarinet." Can you set certain measures to be a specific instrument(s)?

In Palettes, there is a subheading called "text". From there, you will find a button called "Change Instru.". Click on that, decide on which instrument you're going to use and you can change the text afterwards.

Currently it is better to add an instrument change from the [Add]>[Text] menu as the instrument change in the pallet is broken and does not correctly handle transposing instruments or instruments that use different clefs. See #320828: Change Instrument Palette Text does not recognise current instrument leading to incorrect transpositions
