Cut lower notes from one staff and paste to another staff
I copied a 28 measure line with double notes (see the graphic showing an excerpt) from the cellos (which can play them divisi) to the 1st trombone which obviously can't. Is there a quick way to block-strip the lower notes in all measures and assign them to the 2nd Trombone?
Both sets of notes belong to the same part, which I realise is unfortunate and may complicate the task at hand.
Thanks

Use the selection filter, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/selection-modes#selection-filter

Thanks. There's some very useful information there, which will come in handy. Unfortunately in my specific case, the Select -> All Similar Elements in Same Staff option didn't work because it didn't recognise the upper and lower sets of notes as distinct and selected everything.
If all the notes were entered in the same voice (as 2-note chords), you may need to explode them.

Brilliant! Thanks a ton - that worked perfectly!
