chords play on midi export unless track is muted
I followed the directions to un-click play in the format-style-chord symbols window. However, when the midi is exported, the notes on the channel with with chords attached to it is also muted. How do i mute only the chords? I have rev 3.6.2.548....

I deleted the chords just to keep moving with my project. but now the notes on the original track with the deleted chords will not play.
Try muting the chords channel in the mixer instead. Expand the track and look for the one with "harmony" in it.

That works, but the notes do not play now. Only the one channel - with harmony in the name , is muted. The chord will play if un-muted but the notes still don't play. I copied the notes in the suspect track to a new track and this new track plays, but this seems like a band aid, not a process.
