Deleting all chord names and leaving notes
Hi!
How can I delete all the chord names from my lead sheet and leave the notes? When I unselect "voice 1" from selection filter, chords are also unselected..
Thanks!
Cheers,
Uri

I should have said "chords in the same line", not all chords, since I know you can select similar elements, but then it selects ALL chords.
right-click one chord symbol, select all similar (in same staff), Del

That selects all chords in ALL staffs (lines), so I end up with no chords. I just want to delete the chords in 8 bars. Selecting for all similar in system does that, but for all instruments. I am looking for something in between, to be able to select for 1 instrument, in 1 line.

Many ways lead to Rome ... :-).
Select the first chord and use the Shift key to select the last one. Delete.

That removes everything in the range, not just chord symbols

Maybe misunderstanding: I meant selecting the chord symbols.
It works in the same way as you described, at least in that sheet I tried. Without deleting dynamics, lyrics, ties, slurs, codas or any notes.

Definitely works today, but not in 2019 I think - this was a relatively recent add.
[ EDIT: deleted comment about select all chords since I misread the question :-) ]

Chord is not Chord Symbol ;-)

In this thread there were the formulations chord, chord symbol, chord name. I'm not good enough in music and in English, so there can be misunderstandings. This is what I mean by chord symbol:

Thank you Jojo. Love it. I was deleting one by one. You helped me get back 10 mins just when I have to get to bed after a long day. God bless you.
