8th note triplet help
Probably an easy question but I can't figure it out.
I have 8th note triplets and I want to remove the middle 8th note and replace it with an 8th rest but still have the 1st and last 8th note bracketed together. I have attached a picture. I want to make this ride pattern. any help is appreciated

Dang it, I thought I could finally pay it forward here. Try again, but not in note input mode (Hit N to toggle). I was able to get your desired results.

hmmmm. could you send a screen shot? I'm trying to get the 1st and last 8th note of the triplet to be bracketed together with an 8th rest in the middle.

The bracket is still there - it's the right angled lines either side of the number 3. I think you want the beam to extend over the rest. Click on the rest and then click on "beam middle" in the beams pallet.

Yeah, I misunderstood. I was assuming by bracket he meant the triplet bracket.
