Muse Sounds says it is installed, but I can't find it, except in uninstalled form
I have repeatedly tried to open Muse Sounds. What happens is I get a screen saying it is already installed. I click reinstall, and it does, though it doesn't seem to get all the way through the installation. When I find it and click it, it gives the same install/reinstall screen. There is nothing on Musescore 4 to indicate that anything except msbasic is available. I've watched the video several times, but I have yet to see anything that is on the video. What have I done wrong, or what's wrong with muse sounds?

Have similar issue. Have installed Muse Sounds to a custom location, but it's grayed out in the Playback setup window and can't be selected.

I think in my case, Muse Sounds didn't completely download. I watched the details in the terminal (I have Mint 21) and the terminal closed abruptly before while still working. The directory that everything went to didn't appear to have all the files. No sounds, for example.

I just looked at my playback setup section, and muse sounds is there now, but greyed-out, too.
I am commenting here because I have exactly the opposite problem, but the two phenomena may be related. BTW I'm using the Mac version. I have downloaded the sounds many times, but every time I open Musehub it starts to download the sounds AGAIN. How do i stop this?

The download means there is an update available. Don't stop it - let it complete.
Not sure if you're saying there is another problem other than that - if so, best to start a new thread for that and describe the issue in more detail.
