i still don't understand why, but
i will look for an alternative.
I like my S-Mode, living without bothering about
viruses and trojans.

You could use 3.6.2 PortableApp, at least much newer then 3.3.4
There's no 4.0.0 PortableApp or Windows Store version though, and no MuseHub either, I guess

I completely understand the attraction of S mode. You, of course have to do what you have to do. And yet S mode is so severely limited as to be hardly worth it. You may think your needs are simple. But here is a case where you are limited. At the mercy, so to speak, of the Store. When government systems are hacked so often, I have to wonder what chance I have. No matter what OS I use. Most of the simple software I use won't run in S mode. Computer security isn't as hard as you might think. Nor does there have to be any cost involved.
