This isn't a place where scores live, they are just ordinary files on your computer. So to actually remove a file from your computer, use the file browser that came with the computer (eg, Explorer on Windows, Finder on macOS, etc) to delete it from the folder you saved it to.
You can also clear the list of recent files (which is what shows in the Scores tab) via the File menu.
Yes, thank you Mark. I understand this. I just didn't want to see all these endless old scores when I opened the scores tab - even after they have been removed from my computer. Now I understand that if I clear recent they no longer appear. Thank you!!
Once they are removed from your computer they shouldn't appear anymore. It might take the system a moment to realize they are gone, but if you click on a thumb, or just restart MsueScore, it should be gone from the recent list as well.
