Hiding Piano Parts
I want to do what was easy in M3, which was hitting I and hiding entire parts. I used to do this to save space on scores by not showing the piano parts with SATB parts, but still hearing them.
There have been a few similar questions but the responses seem more about hiding specific bars/measures than the whole staves.

Hide the staves, not the part/instrument

Thanks but not clear what you mean, sorry. Do you mean select every bar in the piano Treble and Bass clefs?
In M3 it was easy just to hide with one click.

not bar/measure, but stave/staff, Treble and Bass

Thanks again but still not clear. Looking at Staff/Part Properties shows as in the attachment. It doesn't explicitly say hide everything. Sorry to be slow.

Not there, but in the Instruments tab

When I do that in version 4 I no longer hear the part.
I'd like to not see the part and still hear it.
Based on reading this thread I went back to opening in MuseScore 3.x and voila - Instruments ... not shown but heard after pressing i and unticking the parts I did not want to see but still hear.
Do you know if this is possible in MuseScore 4.x.
Cheers
Keith

Hide the staff rather than the part
