Suitable substitute for a 5 (10 double) stringed Citern tuned CFCGC from lowest to highest
Hello there!
I'm wondering if anyone knows a suitible instrument that is in MS3 that one could use as a substitute for a Citern with the mentioned attributes. So preferably similar to the Citern in frequency range and playability.
The reason is that I'm currently writing some folk music for a music school project and it hit me that I would like to incorporate the Citern, as one of my classmates plays the instrument and it sounds absolutely beautiful and appropriate. I should say though I'm new to this instrument and originally planned to just use acoustic/semi-acoustic guitars for this musical role.
I notice that the Citern is not available in MS (at least not in the version I use and my computer is unfortunately to old to be able to update the OS to be compatible with MS4).
Other ideas/workarounds are welcomed as well. Also, I would like to take this time to just say thank you so much for this software! :)
My computer specs and MS version: OS: macOS High Sierra (10.13), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.6.2.548020600, revision: 3224f34

It seems to be kind of a Lute, so take any of those (looking for the closest match) and modify the string data to match your Citren

I didn't know you could edit all these details of the instrument but now when I've looked into it I'm sure this will work great. Thanks!
