2 notes: one as quarter note with up staff, and one as eight triplet with down staff
I'm new to MuseScore and absolutely loving it! Thanks to all of the contributors to this wonderful piece of software. I'm simply trying to enter an eight note triplet with staffs going down, and a quarter note with the staff going up. I can't figure out how to enter this. Would be good to see the keyboard shortcuts to enter such a phrase. Please see attached jpg image.

Soichi-san, Thank you so much for the quick response! Exactly what I needed. Your advice on voices makes sense and I was easily able to create my two separate note rhythms by using voice 1 and 2. I read your MuseScore blog (translated from Italian to English) and really appreciate your contributions over the many years!
"staff" here is probable "stem",.. (and the answer indeed is "use voices")

Thanks for the correction! It does help when one uses the correct music terms. :-) But luckily you and Shoichi-san knew what I meant! Really enjoying learning how to use MuseScore 4.
