Musescore4 Export to pdf does not reflect edit changes on parts
Edited slurs (lines) for 2 cello parts in score. Saved. Export score and parts as pdf. The score reflects the edits slurs, the individual cello parts do not.

Score needed

Here's the score

IK, I see slurs in measure 15 and 17, that have been extended wrongly (layout only) in score but not in part, that is not syncing and by design.
Instead change the slur using sift+right, so it really spans more notes

That worked, using the shift+right, in the individual part. Thank you! Does that mean the elements (slurs / line) must be changed on each individual part, rather than on the score? or that the elements must be changed only by shift+right, not by dragging the handle? Both?

See:

most especially this part:
"If you wish to change the note to which a slur or tie is connected, the recommended method is to use the keyboard shortcuts described above (Shift+←/→). This is the most efficient way of changing both the visual and playback range of notes encompassed by a slur or tie."
Okay, so...
The start and end points of slurs are anchored to specific notes. Dragging the 'handles' of the end points is only visual. Using Shift + arrow actually changes the anchor point. This is most important because when changes to layout cause measures to expand/contract the slur will maintain its shape relative to the notes to which it is attached.
(Click on a slur, drag an endpoint and notice the dotted red line which shows its anchor position. Other lines, such as voltas, behave similarly regarding anchors.)

Thank you for the explanation!

The distictions is always content (synced between score and part) vs. layout (copied on part creation, but not synced after).
Iindividual drags are layout, shift+right is content.
(Edit: corrected above statement)

Thank you! I did not realize there was a difference.

@Jojo... You wrote:

So, if I have a whole note that gets copied from the main score into the part (during part creation) and then decide to change that whole note into 2 different half notes in the part, wouldn't that change the content and get synched to the main score?
In reply to @Jojo... You wrote: content … by Jm6stringer
note duration certainly is content. Their head is not (I think)

So note duration, being content, is synched after part creation.
Earlier you wrote:

Which one is true?
"content is copied on part creation, but not synced after"
or
"content is copied on part creation, and synced after"
