Musescore 4 crashes constantly
Hi everyone, I've been using Musescore 4 a lot without much problem, but now it is starting to crash constantly when making any change to sheet music.
I can have a simple sheet music for 3 instruments, and when a detail is changed (something as small as an accent marking) MS4 crashes. If it withstands any sort of change in the sheet music, at the moment of saving (in my PC) it will certainly crash, not leaving a chance to work a single bit.
It has become quite frustating now, since there is no work around apparently.
My PC is a high-end one that runs more complex and heavy software, so I'm certain this is not a machine related issue, but a software one. Also, this occurs while not using MuseSounds, so it's not like playback is taking a huge toll on my PC.
Any way to solve this or do I have to wait for further releases?

Please attach your score which is crashing, because that will help people to investigate. What we need is the .mscz file.

Thank you for the information, truly!
Is there a way for me to check this problems as a user? In case that if something similar happens again, I could see what is the problem by myself.

Hi Jojo. Musescore hasn't told me there are any corruptions but it crashes everytime I try to create parts. I have narrowed it down to the third trombone part but I can't figure out what is wrong.

How are you trying to create parts?
Does this one crash too?

I tried creating parts by clicking the "Parts" button at the top, next to the mixer.
Then I tried going through the File menu and clicked parts.
The one you sent did not crash. Did you do something? Was something wrong with the file?

I did a few things, amongst other I did a reset to all parts

I am having trouble opening Musescore 4 and since the file (that was originaly created in Musescore 3) was saved in musescore 4, I cannot go back to Musescore 3. Is there a way to recover this file to be opened in MS3? Thanks

Yes, the .mscz file is a compressed file. Use an unzipping program to pull out of it the .mscx file, and that will open in Musescore 3.
What is the behavior you observe when a 'crash' happens? Or, how does it crash? Also, is your system Linux, macOS, Windows?

The behavior is that musescore freezes for a couple of second, where I can't do anything but wait. Then it just shuts down, it closes without any notice.
I'm on Windows 10 at the moment.

I sometimes got into it too. Excuse me to follow this issue.
I am having similar problems with a score as well, could someone help me work out what is happening?
Every time I try to edit the composer/arranger text, MS4 crashes. Doesn't matter which score, it does this on all of them
