Musescore 4.0.2 does not install, although Musescore 4.0.1 is installed.
Hello good afternoon, greetings. Let me see if you can help me.
When I open Musescore 4.0.1 it tells me that version 4.0.2 is already distributed. I download it. But Musescore tells me that it cannot be installed because "it has to be installed on a local hard disk" and I am installing it on my local hard disk C:, where version 4.0.1 is installed.
I have tried everything: installing from Musescore 4.0.1, from Muse Hub and even downloading it without Muse Hub. I've tried changing the subdirectory on the hard drive C.... no way.
The funny thing is that my laptop only has one local hard drive, the C drive.
It's a Samsung Galaxy Book 12 and I work with Windows 10. And, I repeat, I ALREADY have Musescore version 4.0.1 installed on the local hard drive C:
Anyway, I appreciate any interest and help.
I hope you guys are doing better.

When in doubt, try uninstalling 4.0.1 then installing 4.02 from scratch.

Ok! It worked fine. Thank you!!
If this happens again, try to update from Muse Hub. Installing via the prompt that shows up when you open Musescore doesn't seem to work at all. I tried ~10 times and it didn't install 4.0.2 until I closed everything and updated from Muse Hub.
