No Exit Button
The exit button that is commonly found in the upper right corner of applications isn't there. I don't know if it's a client side issue, but even after opening and alt-f4ing, it still doesn't appear.

Apparently in some cases on Windows, this MuseScore might be in full screen mode. Not sure what's going on, but try exiting that mode via the View menu, or keyboard shortcut F11.

I'm having the same issue with it starting in fullscreen mode, but turning off fullscreen mode and then maximizing the window puts it right back into fullscreen mode. Not the worst bug in the world but it is mildly inconvenient to not have the x button there without exiting full screen.
In my case this problem occurs when I set Windows Taskbar to hide automatically. It's propably a bug of the last update of Musescore 4.

That's exactly the case with this bug. It is known and a fix is in the works
