Musescore 4 File is Corrupted
I was working on this for a while, but when I came back to it, I found it was corrupted. When I try to open it, it displays this error message: "Error=XML_ERROR_EMPTY_DOCUMENT ErrorID=13 (0xd) Line number=0"
I tried recovering the backup, but that was corrupted too. Does any one know if there is anything I can do? Or is it lost forever?
The file is attached in case anyone else can open it.

Is there any way to recover some of my work? Like an auto save or opening with another OS?

Your file is empty. You will have to look for any other backup.

I see. Is there any way to recover files besides using "msc.backup"?

The file in the hidden mscbackup folder records the state of your score at the start of your last editing sessions. But, most operating provide some sort of versioning system that can allow you to recover any previously-saved version of any tfile. For instance, on Windows, it's OneDrive that does this. Usually right-clicking the scoree in your file browser will expose the options for recovering past versions, assuming the feature is not disabled.
