My score
There's an auto save file for my score that I've been working on, but it says it's corrupted. How do I get my score back?

I've got no problems opening that score
It wouldnt let me upload the corrupted file, so this one is the original, but I had a whole page and a half on the lead sheet and then it crashed and made the autosave file which is the one corrupted. The original only saved the first bar.

Zip it and upload then
This is what it tells me when I try to upload the corrupted file. It will not upload on here at all.

Apparently, this screenshot doesn't work either. But every time I try to upload the corrupted file is just says "Unable to upload. File type is not supported".
I tried taking a picture of the corrupted file. The details show that it's an "unknown file type".

Re-name "Stop the Hate.mscz.autosave" to "Stop the Hate.mscz" and then upload.
Okay I renamed it, but it told me it may be unusable now.

The re-name was to get the file able to be uploaded/posted here. You can always re-name it back to what it was; but if you look at the file size of your attachment it says '0 bytes'. That means the score is empty and completely useless by whatever name it goes by.

So in other words, I lost all my work I did permanently, and it's gone forever. What's the point of having autosave if it doesn't actually autosave? Musescore needs to really fix their program because this many people shouldn't be having problems with corrupt files. I'm really upset that I spent days on end working on this score and literally basically all of it is gone. As of right now I have a really low rating for Musescore.

In addition to the autosave file, you might have a backup file in a hidden "mscbackup" folder.
Also, check for variants like "Stop the Hate (2)" or "Stop the Hate (1)"
