Locking 8 measures per line?
Hello! I apologize if this has already been covered in this forum, but I'm not seeing a way to search the Forums.
I need to have my music show 8 measures on each line, but I'm not seeing a way to do this. Can somebody out there help me? I promise I've looked through the handbook, but I guess I'm not searching for the correct term. Thanks so much!

Go to the Format menu. Select Add/remove system breaks and then Breaks systems every ... measures and enter 8 in the box. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/systems-and-horizontal-spacing#syst…
But note that this will only guarantee a maximum of 8 measures per system. If they contain too much music and therefore 8 measures will not fit on a system, the measures that won't fit will automatically wrap to the next system and you will have to alter some other settings to make the measures smaller. There are several settings to play with. Good ones to start with are Layout stretch (see that first linked article).
