Panning
Is it possible to pan an individual note?
I have a drumset drumline where I want the snare drums to be heard on the far left while having only one stave.

Panning with the Mixer applies to the entire instrument stave.
You could fake it by having a second snare drum stave which only plays that single note, because it is then a separate instrument.

Yes thanks. But I was hoping I wouldn't have to have a second stave.
Instead, when I click a note, I was hoping to go to properties>Playback, and find a panning setting there, for that specific note.

Possibly.....IF you had an instrument already panned to the side you want. IF that instrument wasn't playing when you want the snare. You MIGHT enter the snare ( they won't be drum notes yet) notes in voice 2. MAYBE you could select the first note and create an instrument change. Change to snare. You MIGHT need to adjust note positions to get the sound you want. You MIGHT select the new snare notes and hit "V". IF they become grayed out, do the same with the instrument change text and percussion clef. Go to View/Show and uncheck "Show invisible" Those things MIGHT be gone but still playback. IF all that works, you would have to change the instrument back, afterwards. I just tried most of this (except voice 2) and it worked. I think you want voice 2 so that the measure with the drum notes to still show a rest after making the notes invisible. I didn't try that, but it MIGHT work. No guarantee.
Wadaya mean just selecting a setting in properties is easier. Art isn't supposed to be painless:)
