File corrupted. Please help!
So basically, I've been working on a movement to a symphony. I've been composing this for 3 months when it suddenly corrupted, can it be recovered? I've searched up various ways to recover and found them unusable. Help in any form is welcomed. I've attached the corrupted file down below, please help!

No, it can't even get opened with 7Zip.
It seems to consist of zeroes only

Ok, thanks for your comment anyway.
This file contains only about 450 kByte Zeros. Sorry, but there is nothing to repair.
Search for a backup, e.g. in the hidden folder ".mscbackup" at the same location where your mscz files is saved.

So. I just tried this, and this came up. What should I do?

Remove the dot (.) at the beginning and at least the tilde (~) (or whatever it is called in English) at the end of the file name and file extension.
It is not sure that this file is correct. You can also zip it and attach it here so we can examine it more closely.
(The forum does not accept files with endings like .mscz~)

So I tried what you have suggested and it says that the backup is also corrupted. Is this the end?

Yes, unless you have another backup somewhere

There is still one chance (Windows).
Open the hidden folder C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\MuseScore\MuseScoreX
X stands for the MuseScore version.
There are some mscz files having cryptical names. Look if you find one which contains your score - maybe only a previous version.
If not - yes, it is the end.
