Chords Simbols
I am working with MuseScore3 very well and I like these program. I have Window 10, but on my other computer I have Window 11. Everything is ok, but when I add chords simbols, they don't playback. I have only melody without chords. I think the reason is Window 11.
On computer with Window 10 if I open INSPECTOR and activate chord simbol I have ooption PLAY - INTERPRETATION -Voicing and Duration, but on other computer Window 11 I haven't such option.
What I could do?

In the Inspector, there is a check box called "Play" for each individual chord. I don't use Win 11, but I can't imagine there is a difference with any other operating system.
But there is also a checkbox in "Format/Style/Chord Symbols" that enables chord playback globally.

He must select a chord symbol which was created by Ctrl+K. Otherwise it is not a chord symbol and doesn't have this property.
OK, I don't use Win11, but I can't imagine that this depends on the operating system used.

That property looks different in Mu4.
And that style setting doesn't exist in Mu4 (and that might be worth an issue on GitHub)
Mu3 also has an option in Preferences to switch chord playback off permanently, so check that too

She stated using MuS 3.

Where? I only can find "Play whole chord (resp. chord symbol) when editing" in the section 'Note Input'.

Thank you!
I searched there but for 'Chord' :-( - then of course unsuccessful when it says 'Harmony'!

Which is the internal name.

That doesn't actually turn it off; it merely sets the default for the style settings when creating new scores. MU4 has an actual setting to globally enable/disable chord symbol playback; MU3 does not.

Where's that global setting in Mu4? It doesn't have it as a score style setting, like Mu3, ot does it?
In reply to Where? by Jojo-Schmitz
No, it’s on the playback toolbar along with the global repeats setting etc. Given there are also mixer channels per score, having two conflicting per-score settings and no global setting never really made that much sense to begin with. So now it is both simpler and more flexible.

Ah, there. Yes, I agree

Addendum: maybe resetting to factory defaults will help?

That would at least get rid of that preferences option I mentioned above
