Convert score to TAB
I have imported ABC and it came in as normal music notation/staff.
I would like to convert it now to Tab.
There doesn't appear to be any particular instrument associated with the existing score.
I can add an Instrument using the letter i key on keyboard, and select Mandolin (tablature), it creates a new score without any notes. How do I get the notes from the score above to appear on my new Mandolin (tab) score?

Copy and paste them into your mandolin tab staff.
Or add a linked staff to your imported staff.

Then you added a new instrument.
My suggestion: In the staff/part properties, simply change the instrument to "Mandolin (Tabulature)".

I click the little Settings (cog) icon, Replace Instrument and select Mandolin (tablature), but it just inserts the word "Mandolin" in front of the score and makes no other changes.

It works in MuS 3 ...
