delete last two lines
I cannot delete the last two lines without interfering with score Plus I wrongly entered a bass clef at the end of second line and when I delete it the notes in refrain change at the same time.
What am I doing wrong?

Format > Style > Score > Hide empty staves

I have clicked on FORMAT; STYLE; SCORE and ticked the box HIDE EMPTY STAVES WITHIN SYSYEM and nothing happened. Is there something I have not done?

Can I ask you please to look at that unwanted Bass clef at end of second line, see my attachment yesterday.

Select that clef and in its Properties (the Tab to the left) disable "Show courtesy clef in previous system"

got rid of the unwanted clef, thank you but still cannot get rid of bottom two lines.
I note they are part of a four line system, could that be the problem?

Both my attachements don't show those extra lines
The entire score is a holy mess, switch to continuous view to see, Or play back.
You have stuff notated and playing at the same time that should rather be after one another
