"Measures" in the nightly, "bars" in the release?
Just noticed that in 4.2.0-beta 3 has "measures" in menus and icon text tips, but "bars" in the release version of 4.2.0.
Thought I was going mad but started them both in different languages - e.g. in Spanish the icon text tips are in English but have changed from measures to bars.
I think the English language handbook uses "measures" mostly, doesn't it, despite them being interchangeable (though I've never said "measures" in my life)?
Did I miss the memo?

Depends on whether you're using the British Englisch locale (bar) or the American English one (measure)
The noghtloes may not be up to speed as far as the translations are concenrend, so show the internal string, which is (supposed to be) American English

Thanks I thought it must be something like that. Now I know the expected behaviour I'll check my witness notes :-)
