switching between page layout and continuous
Switching between page layout and continuous causes all sorts of bugs to appear. When pressed "undo" they get worse. What can I do to return to the flitch -free layout?

I'm working on a Mac Ventura 13. I tried to find a backup file, both by following instructions on MuseScore and by searching in my TimeMachine but can't find anything. I couldn't understand how to get to the pathway ~/Library/Application Support/MuseScore/MuseScore3/

4.2 has problems in continuous view. For now stay in page view.

but how do I correct the problems this has created? Do I delete those bars and hope it doesn't happen again?

Would it be better to download and work with an earlier version of MuseScore?

As said above, stay in Page view by waiting the fix in 4.2.1 (soon probably)

I found a workaround. By selecting 4 bars and 'keep bars together' that replaced the missing barlines and made the score readable again.

If you have found an issue that doesn't disappear just by switching back to page view, then please report it with the exact steps to recreate it.
The continuous view problems that will be fixed in 4.2.1 are display issues only, they do not change your score and they disappear just by switching to page view.
If you encountered things such as disappeared barlines that were not coming back just by switching to page view then you have found another kind of problem.
