How to replace a note with a rest in a triplet

Im still learning and the handbook wasn't much help.
So how do i create a rest in the middle of a triplet in 6/8 time

That score doesn't have a triplet but a duplet. with a rest that belongs after it between the notes, see the 1st measure of the score, where I reset the rest#s position (and enabled the number and bracket fort the tuplet)
Then check the 2nd measure.

You're free to improve the handbook
Same as for a "normal note": select the note, press [Del] or 0 (zero) or click on the rest icon in the toolbar. You may then need to adjust beaming.
