Playback only harpsichord and way too fast (twice as fast?)
I recently updated my Musescore to version
OS: Windows 10 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.2.1-240230937, revision: d757433
A piano score (or a new score with 4 notes) is played back around twice as fast and with harpsichord. The pitch is also higher. I tried to change from 24-bit 48kHz to 96kHz, restarted Musescore and I have the same issue.
Could it be a bug?

Raising the bit rate will only make things worse. While you were there did you turn off Exclusive mode? Please post a score that does this. 2009?

Lowering the bitrate also does nothing. For the score, any score! I create a new score, Select Piano, and add 4/4, four notes, they are played higher in pitch with a harpsichord sound and about twice as fast.
I searched for "exclusive mode", but didn't find any option in the Edit/Preferences.

Tried to change buffer from 1024 to 4096 and tried to change from exclusive to not exclusive mode, same results, still the issue

I would say yes because it worked well before this sudden bug.
