Triplets and staff spacing- M4
I am adding fingerings to 8th note triplets. The "3" of the triplet conflicts with the fingering. That is to say that the staves do not automatically adjust to accommodate the "3" of the triplet and the fingering number. One is superimposed over the other.
Also, when adding fingerings, when a fingering is added above a note, it would be convenient to have a way of moving directly to the next note to add a fingering (like the right arrow) versus having to select the note with the mouse and then return to the fingerings palate to add the fingers, then move back to select the next note etc. The is a lot of perhaps unnecessary back and forth here. But, of course, not an intolerable inconvenience.
Thank you. I think MuseScore 4 is truly a beautiful evolution of the program.

This exists since ages now! More exactly, since version 3.1 ( May 2019), five years...😉

After some experimentation, I did not find the options referenced above to be much of an improvement in efficiency, if any, over my Neanderthal method. Thank you.

It's quite hard to believe, but I just realize that the handbook is deficient in describing this method! 🙄
See this comment instead, and I hope you'll be convinced by now: https://musescore.org/en/node/360724#comment-1229524

Hi caciz1, I printed the node link you sent and will experiment further with this as time permits. Thanks for pushing me to be a better, more informed MuseScore user and have a great day!
