Ornaments over chords
Is there any way to apply an ornament to only one note of a chord? I'm trying to add a trill to the top note only of a chord - I've tried using a different channel for the trill note but it doesn't seem to work.

A chord with 2 Voices: Voice 1 for the top note with the trill, and other notes in Voice2 (and flip the stems of Voice 2 if wished)

Thanks for the reply. That is exactly what I tried, but I'm using a tablature with a linked treble clef stave and I find the ornament above the tablature shows as channel 1 and the one above the stave shows as channel 2. No idea why, but I can't change the channel of the ornament.

Here's a single piano chord with the top note and trill on channel 1 and the other notes on channel 2. The trill still plays on all then notes regardless of channel.

See: 1trill.mscz
So, works with just the sign tr (without line, in Ornaments palette), but not with lines, because: https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/15816

Thanks again for the info. I guess that means I can't add a mordent of a turn to one note of a chord.
