Has MuseScore Studio played at a normal speed in the past? Also, does the issue with a specific score or all scores?

it happens in every score. And i dont know where musescore started to be named "studio" so i cant tell you if it started before or after... But as I didnt notice I would say it was after the update.
X4 speed is strange.
Check your audio settings (computer) to ensure that all parts are set to 44.1 kHz sampling rate.

alredy checked... musescore is running at x4 speed, even the time marker! (time algo goes x4 speed). The whole program is running like that and theres no other program in my computer doing the same... is really weird.
There you go a video with an example:

It appears that there is no tempo applied on the score. Try applying a tempo at the first note. I would suggest 132 quarter-notes a minute as a start then adjust from there as desired.
How to:
1) Open the tempo section at the left palettes panel
2) Select "Quarter note = 80bpm
3) Double click the element at the top left of the score, and set to your desired speed.
Hope this helps.

its the first thing i tryied, didnt work. Even if it did, doesnt explain why the notes are an octave above.

I found that exporting as .mp3 creates a file that plays at the correct tempo and pitch. This implies that MuseScore 'knows' the correct tempo and pitch. It's MuseScore's built-in player/synthesiser that seems to get its clock wrong.

Sorry; I didn't mean to imply that MuseScore is useable like that. I can't use it in its current form. My point was only to try to help to identify the source of the problem. It's obviously not the score nor the sampling rate.

Please check ALL the settings listed here: https://musescore.org/en/node/339915
Don't skip any.
Don't waste time with reinstall. Try a MuseScore factory reset. instead.

Nothing in that list makes any difference to this problem. I've tried.

Uncheck Exclusive mode and lowering bit rate? Are you using an external audio device?

Exclusive mode is unchecked and bit rate makes no difference.
I'm using an external audio device (Sound BlasterX AE-5). Drivers are up-to-date. No other app has any issues playing sound on this device. Motherboard audio hardware is disabled in BIOS/EFI Settings so it can't be interfering.

My suggestion would be to try the onboard audio. I have seen cases where onboard worked when external didn't.
I have a Focusrite that used to help MU4. Especially on my lower powered computers. But since Studio came out, they don't really need it.
