Remove space from the left side of the second grand staff.
Hello, I want to remove the space from the left side of the second grand staff. In the screenshot I've attached below, I want the second grand staff to move from the dotted green line to the dotted red line so that the first grand staff and the second one are the same distance from the left of the page.

That space should not be there if you use default settings. Why it is there can only be guessed from a picture. Please attach the score itself (the .mscz file) so that someone can see what non-default settings have been applied.
It's very simple: you have added a lot of leading spaces to the short instrument name!

Hello, I hope you see this reply. I've actually found out that the reason is, the other instruments in this piece have longer names. You cannot see the other instruments because I've applied the "hide empty staves" property. When I removed all the instrument names, the space was removed. But I still need the instrument names to appear.

You can try a few things here.
1. Just don't hide the empty staves.
2. See if you can reduce the length of the instrument name. I find it hard to believe that a single name has to be this long, you can add line breaks if necessary.
3. Additionally, you can use the "change instrument" text to change the appearance of staff labels. At the start, set the names to be empty. Then when you need the staff to be shown, add an instrument change and set the instrument names how you want.

What is the text that's making it so long? I've never had this happen in one of my scores so I'm curious to hear.

If, as suggested, you attach the score, someone can look at it and perhaps answer your question. Just looking at a picture means guesswork is needed and it may take many guesses before someone guesses correctly, if ever.

Actually the piece has all other orchestra instruments ie. woodwinds, brass, strings, timpani and choir (vocalists), just that they do not play at the beginning of the song. So their instrument names caused the spacing. So I had to delete all the instrument names and added a section break and instrument change so that they reappear when the instruments begin to play.
