How to add this on Tab
Hi,
Sorry to bother everyone, I am a self-taught musician and starting to learn how to Tab much of my work in Musescore, I found an old piece and wanted to transcribe, attached is the picture of the tab (Dm Chord), I was trying to find what is it called & ways to add it on the tab for days by searching the internet and reading the online handbook of Musescore, I am sure my way of searching fails because I don't know in music term what is it called, I just know how to play them when reading tab.
I figured out some of the bits & pieces by watching YT videos, reading the online handbook & forum.
Your kind assistance is highly appreciated.
Cheers,
Jeff

Your question is a bit unclear. First you say that it is a Dm chord, then you ask what it is called. I don't know what to answer. It is called a Dm chord in TAB notation, which you already know.
Then you say that you have read the handbook, and then you ask how to enter the Dm chord in tab. And since this is described in the handbook, which you have read, it is not clear what the problem is. Just in case you have missed the part of the handbook where it describes how to enter TAB, here it is:
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/entering-and-editing-tablature-nota…
Otherwise, please be more specific on what you want to do.

Your image lacks context. But I can think of the way some software programs surround notes/chords in TAB staves to indicate "long" duration (half notes, whole notes).
It's an old request (see: #275196: Circled fret marks for half note and whole note durations in tablature staves ) but it's still at the same status. So, MuseScore to this day cannot reproduce this display.

Thanks cadiz1 for this, at least I don't need to spend more time scouring the internet on how to do this on my score.
I guess I will just wait for the developers to come up with a solution and/or an alternative to reflect this.
Cheers!

Yes, I know.
You're welcome to redo it on Github.

Sorry for the confusion, I need to write the chord Dm on a Tab that is encircled. The picture should be self-explanatory :)

Not really... For which instrument? In any case it's not a Dm chord for guitar. Then your TAB shows 4 lines. So, please precise.

I am re-writing a Guitar Tab to Ukulele Tab (4-string).

I thought of a ukulele, indeed. But what the picture shows is not a Dm chord for uke either. It's done like this - image below.
So, with frets:

Hi cadiz1,
Yeah that is the basic Dm fingering, but the G note (3) on the E string is part of the D Harmonic/Melodic Minor scale, depending on the context of the score it has it's place.

Sorry, I don't follow you anymore. So what's your question now? The original question deviates, and I don't know what you want to do and how to get from a guitar score to a ukulele score. It really would have been more useful to attach that guitar score and explain what you're doing.

No worries cadiz1, you had answered my question on your first response, based on the link you provided it is still haunting us on how to put the encircled chords (whatever the duration is) in the Tab.
Thank you for you time on helping me out on this.
Cheers!

"it is still haunting us on how to put the encircled chords (whatever the duration is) in the Tab."
That's just not possible. And there's never been any question of putting circles around notes/chords for shorter note values, in MuseScore or other programs, there's no point, unless you see one.

A quick search on Google yield Notion 3 & 4 can do this feature :)

Yes, I know, but as you can see from the images from Notion, these circles are for whole notes and half notes only. No quarter notes, and even shorter values. I think Guitar Pro can do it too (only whole notes and half notes again) but not MuseScore (yet?)
What you have there is not a Dm chord, but a Dsus4 chord. Minor or Major requires the characteristic minor or major 3rd, your chord has neither.
Here's your chord notated as Uke Tab:
