Can’t remove specific measure numbers
I just updated to MuseScore 4.3.2.241630831.
I’ve made some choir scores on the previous version and do not recall ever having this issue I’m having before.
I want all of the measures to be numbered which is easy enough to do, however now the bass clef of the piano part as well as the treble clef are both numbered. Why would the bass clef also be numbered? I tried to get rid of just the bass clef measure numbers through measure properties but it gets rid of the measure number for the entire piano part in both clefs. Can someone help me out?

But then that will remove the measure numbers from ALL the measures in all staves. SATB, as well as the treble and bass clef staff of the piano part. I want all the measures numbered. However, now that musescore measures even the bass clef staff of the piano staves, the numbers are right in the middle of the piano music around middle C. So any notes inputted will have to compete with non removable measure numbers.

"But then that will remove the measure numbers from ALL the measures in all staves." [...] the numbers are right in the middle of the piano music"
No, you're mixing two things up. As said, in Format / Style / Measure numbers, you need to uncheck “All staves”, but of course the “Measure numbers” must remain checked. It is by default, so I guess you unchecked it accidentally or by mistake.
By default, measure numbers are displayed to the left. If this is not the case, you have changed the horizontal placement. In the same dialog, change to Left
In summary, you should see the following (EDIT: on the image below, Interval (1 measure) is my choice, the default is "Every system")
And open this test file of a SATB + piano score: example.mscz
As I understand, you want to get rid of only the bass clef measure numbers. One way I found is to select all similar in the bass line and set the properties to unvisible or the colour to white.
