4.3.2 and 4.4 update issue
I have had musescore 4 since December 2022 and have typically not had a problem with automatically installing new updates. However, I am unable to download the most recent 4.3.2 and 4.4 musescore updates. When I open musescore the bottom corner says it is version 4.4 but it doesn't have any of the 4.4 features, I seem to be stuck on musescore 4.3. I have tried redownloading both musehub and musescore but nothing changes. What can I do to fix this?

I guess this problem: https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/15167
(the workaround is included in the issue report)
EDIT: I have forgotten: the issue has been resolved in 4.4. But I suppose that doesn't mean you don't have to remove any excess and former versions on your system.

I tried uninstalling musescore, but now it created an error in muse hub where I can't reinstall it. I am not a windows use so I'm not sure if that's an issue

Well, since it seems to have been a specific problem with Windows Installer (I'm running Windows), I can't go much further to help you.
You never say: what's your operating system?

I don't really know how to help you now but, after watching this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5okpk1sWxbo), can you tell us if you see any versions of Musescore (whatever they are) on your system ?

I think I have up to musescore 4.2.1

Only the 4.2.1?
If so, remove it, then install 4.4.

I do not have any of the features that go past 4.2.1, but when I open musescore it says it's version 4.4 in the corner even though I don't have its features

In the corner? We're going round in circles. To get to the point, open the version you're using and look at menu Help / About MuseScore Studio. What are you reading, which version?
NB: have you downloaded Musescore on the official page, here: https://musescore.org/en/download,
or elsewhere?

When I look at menu help, it says I'm up to date even though I know I am not. And yes, I downloaded MuseScore off of the official page

No, in menu Help / About Musescore Studio, you should see this - image below - with a version number (here, 4.3.2, I haven't had time to update on the computer I'm on at the moment)

I do see that and mine says versions 4.4.0.242390800 (I can not send a screenshot because my computer says the file is too large)

In that case you DO have version 4.4
You say "it is version 4.4 but it doesn't have any of the 4.4 features". Which features are you expecting to see that you don't see?

An image file weighs nothing, but never mind. If you have 4.4, that's fine.
Next, why do you say: "I don't have any of the features that go past 4.2.1?"
Do you know what features were implemented in 4.3 and 4.4?
And if so, how? (I know, personally, but I want to know what underlies your thinking about 4.2.1 vs. 4.4).

I do not have the "stave text" that a modify an instrument's sound implemented in 4.3 for example. I also Do not have the new Muse drumline features from 4.4

I still have the same sounds as the non-muse drum line, I also cannot change the sounds of the mallets used on the drums, which is an update in 4.4

Great. But not for me! I've just installed 4.4 and all the libraries, but something's happened as I read that the Muse Sampler library is not detected! 😱
I'll have to figure it out why first and then fix it! :)

The drums in the drum line sounds (snare, tenor, bass, cymbals) sound the same as they were prior to downloading muse drumline for 4.4
